13.05.2024 36 min Staffel 5 Episode 82
Zusammenfassung & Show Notes
sensXPERT - Optimizing Plastics Manufacturing CEO Cornelia Beyer expresses her views on running a deep tech company in composites & plastics industry that is a company venture of a tradition SME.
Breaking News: If you are in Orlando, FL, from Monday, 6 May to 10th, please meet Cornelia Beyer and Dr. Alexander Chaloupka of sensXPERT - Optimizing Plastics Manufacturing at the NPE: The Plastics Show
In this episode Cornelia talks about her background, her transition to the composites and plastics industry, and the cultural shift at NETZSCH Group, a traditional company venturing into AI and deep tech.
Since, manufacturing processes are at the core of composites and plastics production, I thought it may be a good idea to explore how AI is penetrating industry.
Much to my surpise most companies do not know how AI can assist in optimising their processes. Again Aerospace seems to be a frontrunner and the US is more inclined towards testing out AI.
Cornelia discusses the challenges of introducing this new technology, achieving certifications, and hightlights participating in industry panels to educate the masses.
Cornelia mentions their planned participation in future events and exhibitions to showcase their products and understand market needs. They will focus on product-related conventions, which I believe is a good approach in getting the word spread.
The conversation provides also some personal insights into Cornelia's journey.
Again, she is in the US right now, that's why we rush this first fully captioned (switch on cc) episode to you. Pay her, Phil and Alexander a visit on their booth next week!
Are you at NPE2024 or FAKUMA this year?
