Zusammenfassung & Show Notes
Let me sweeten your Formula 1 weekend in Silverstone with this video.
During the recent JEC Group's Forum in Bologna Italy the motorsport industry was all over the place. We had even a formula 1 celebrity there and of course we took the opportunity to speak to Jarno Trulli personally.
Why I was totally amazed about Jarno is that as a race car driver he is not only concerned with the powertrain, but the overall make of the car. In the interview he reveals his expertise in construction and design of motorsport vehicles.
Learn from him first hand why composites are essential and why they must be from carbon than anything else.
With his R&D partner Giustiniano Andreassi of Gruppo Esea we move to tow preprag and hydrogen level 5 tanks (no liner) and have a short sustainability excursion by Alessandra Passaro of CETMA out of Brindisi.
She underlines the importance of sizing when reinforcing prepregs with recycled carbonfibres, as they may not perform in the compression mould as intended.
As you can take from this Composites Lounge video taken during #composites360ontour composites are versatile and high performing, provided the design is well thought through.
Proud to share this episode with you. There is plenty more to come. So stay tuned!
