In the first part of this extended conversation, author Kory Wynykom and psychic medium Majona talk about ancestral memory, Indigenous history, generational trauma, shadow work and the complex ways in which history can continue to live through families, cultures and individual lives.

Kory speaks about her lifelong fascination with the Great Plains, especially the Dakotas and Montana, and about the questions this raised while writing the Night Dance Saga.
