 Iryna Kazakova
In this 2nd podcast, I talk with Iryna Kazakova. Iryna lived in Kharkiv until recently, but immediately after the war began she moved to her mother in the surrounding area. She tells us what she had to leave behind, but also what is much more important than the material things. Iryna gives us a small insight into what people in Ukraine have to endure right now and how hard it is not to know if close friends or relatives are still alive. But she also takes us to the work she is doing right now. How the Ukrainian Permaculture Network and the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN)-Ukraine are working together and how important it is to feel solidarity from outside.

If you want to know more about the work of GEN (Global Ecovillage Network) and specifically about the work of GEN-Ukraine and how you can support this important work, please also visit our website. www.gen-europe.org.
